Pre-assembly

We have developed this technique in order to significantly reduce costs for the vehicles maker by elimination of several processing stages in-situ.

It fixes together some parts on glass, such as : hinges, rear-view mirror support brakets, lifting rail mechanism etc…

Extrusion

This technique was developed by Saint-Gobain Sekurit, it consists in extruding a rubber profile around the window, after applying an adhesion agent.
The manufacturer has only to put a bonding compound and fix the window directly to the bodywork.

Encapsulation

This technique is an alternative to the manual setting up of a frame, by injection of a polymer around the glass in a mould.
