All these products are able to suit the evolution of glazing respecting style and aerodynamic shape. They also decrease the air conditioning needs, lower gas consomption and therefore help the environment.

Thermal control

SGS THERMOCONTROL® Absorbing
A solar protective green tinted glass in the mass which absorbs some of the solar radiation responsible for heating up vehicle interior. It can be used for windshields (laminated) or for side windows (tempered)

SGS THERMOCONTROL® Venus
SGS THERMOCONTROL® Venus consists of 2 layers of flat, shaped or curved glass separated by dry air or gas gap.The dessicant is located within the spacer and a double barrier will insure the complete tightness of the panel. Associated with Venus® ,a dark tinted glass, grey or green coloured. It absorbs the solar radiations, reduces the UV transmission, and decreases the direct solar rays transmission.

SGS THERMOCONTROL® Reflecting a heat reflecting glass
SGS THERMOCONTROL® Reflecting is a solar protective glass composed of a very thin transparent coating which reflects solar radiation.

Acoustic comfort

It is a very important matter as it limits the driver’s tiredness and gives to passenger better travelling conditions.

SGS THERMOCONTROL® Venus
improves by about 5 decibels the acoustic insulation compared to a basic tempered glass panel.

SGS GLOBALPROTECT®
Beside its safety function, it offers a good insulation thanks to the PVB film which stops noise high frequencies.

SGS DBCONTROLl®
is a new type of interlayer that presents more acoustic efficiency than the standard PVB.

Visual comfort - Water repellent coating

SGS AQUACONTROL® highly improves the vision through side windows in rain conditions and provides comfort for passengers.

SGS AQUACONTROL® is a very thin coating with perfect optical characteristics, which does not generate vision distortion.
